Our History

Gorebridge Community Development Trust is a registered Scottish Charity established in 2004. Led by the current Chair Archie Pacey MBE the Trust was borne out of a small group of local people who wanted to reach out to the community in order to determine how together we can improve life for all residents in Gorebridge.

From its office at 58 Main St the Trust has formed strong partnerships with Midlothian Council and many other charities, services and organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. The Trust is governed by a board of Trustees made up of local residents with a wide range of complimentary skills. Today the Trust has over 200 members and its facilities and projects are managed by a Full time Manager and three part time staff.
