The family consider meeting of the visitor’s one of the most rewarding aspects of their ownership of Arniston. The present owners of Arniston will take you on an intriguing guided tour lasting around 90 minutes putting the house into context with a background of family history.

The museum is based at one of the finest surviving examples of a Victorian colliery in Europe, the Lady Victoria Colliery at Newtongrange, just nine miles from Edinburgh on the A7.
