GCDT’s volunteers win award

GCDT’s board of directors win the Committee Award at Volunteers' Week Awards 2009. Archie Pacey attended the event at Newbattle Abbey College and accepted the Jewel & Esk College Committee Award on behalf of the Trust’s Board of Directors. Laura Shepherd, manager of the Volunteer Centre Midlothian, highlighted the hard work of all the volunteers at the ceremony, “This night it about you and about showing our appreciation for all your hard work and commitment throughout the year".

The Trust’s Board of Directors were nominated by the staff at the Development Trust for their dedication in developing the Trust from establishing the Trust as a small charity and supporting it through several large projects and transforming it in to a well recognised leader in regeneration in Midlothian.
