After meetings, consultations, questionnaires, focus groups, Gorebridge Locality Plan now needs residents to say exactly what actions they want taken to keep steadily improving life for local residents. A workshop on “Gorebridge, a Safe Place to Live, Work and Visit” was held on 13 May 2009. Two more are due, on 9 September and 14 October, at 6.30 PM in the Brown Building.
As the picture shows, houses are still being built. It is the responsibility of all of us to do what we can to make sure that, as Gorebridge grows up from village to town, all the necessary facilities and services are in place to support a good quality of life. Gorebridge has had the privilege of piloting locality planning for the rest of Midlothian. Please help put the final touches to the Gorebridge Plan by taking part in one or both of these workshops.
