Gorebridge is located approximately 30 minutes by car, 11 miles to the south-west of Edinburgh. There is also a regular bus service. Gorebridge is also located next to the A7 Tourist Route to Edinburgh, making it an ideal place to stop off and visit.

The town and its immediate surrounding district provides a haven of beautiful countryside with access to amenities, ideal for day visits. Walkers and cyclists are especially well catered off with an immense network of paths and walkways providing short and longer distance walks. Likewise, the town is located next to many tourist attractions.
