Community Groups

The following groups are active in the community and Midlothian at large. Between them they offer a very wide range of services, activities and opportunities - there’s something for everybody whatever your age group, needs or interests. We salute the hard, valuable work these groups undertake in the community and would encourage everyone to participate.

The Waverley Line

Following its closure in 1969 Gorebridge Station will re-open as part of the new Waverley line  The line will run from Edinburgh to Tweedbank in the Scottish Borders.

The Women’s Health Organisation

The Women’s Health Organisation meet regularly at the Gorebridge Primary School where crèche facilities are provided.
